What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They're used to make sites work, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use the site. Some cookies are essential, others are optional.
This page explains which cookies GROOVS uses, why, and how you can control them.
How we use cookies
We use two categories of cookies:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to work. These store your consent choice itself, support the skip-to-content link, and handle basic security. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics — help us understand which pages people read, where they get stuck, and what we should fix next. Off by default. They only run if you grant analytics consent on the banner. Specifically, GROOVS uses PostHog (product analytics, EU-hosted) and Google Analytics 4. No advertising. No cross-site tracking.

Manage your preferences
You can change your cookie preferences at any time. Click the button below to re-open the preferences modal.
Third-party services
Embedded third-party content (for example, Google Forms used in surveys, or the WordPress-hosted music player on the home page) may set its own cookies under its own privacy and cookie policies. We don't control those cookies. See the providers' own policies for details.
Changes to this policy
We update this Cookie Policy whenever the set of cookies in use changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes are also re-surfaced through the cookie banner.
